About Me

I am a multidisciplinary artist and writer from Atlanta, Georgia. My design story begins as a young girl, obsessed with miniatures and stage sets. My interest progressed to painting interior landscapes and playing The Sims. My focus shifted from just decorating, to exploring how behavior is effected within any given environment. I found that Interior Design was my inevitable career destination, as it allows me to transform any environment into an unforgettable experience.

Awarded: Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art - Agnes Scott College

Pursuing​: Masters of Arts in Interior Design - Fairfield University 

My approach to design is curatorial. I always consider the project as a whole, and I prioritize functional and aesthetic cohesion. I am whimsical in spirit, so the ultimate goal is to inspire a sense of wonderment within those experiencing my designs. Every element in the environment is intended to unravel, revealing itself through engagement. Inhabitants become immersed in the process of discovery, communicating intentionality of concept.

I believe that I am heavily influenced by my experience in the performing arts, specifically Theatre and Show Choir. Setting the stage, determining the marks, and building the set were my favorite parts of the performance, as they ultimately fuel the narrative being communicated. I believe good design has an element of storytelling, guiding the inhabitants through their environment.

As a designer, I would like the opportunity to reimagine the world. I would like to create spaces that are more than just smartly designed or commercially appealing. I want to immerse people into the possibilities “world building” provides.

The perfect service if you simply need someone to assist you with shopping, making important aesthetic decisions, or help work through some ideas. I can be by your side during to help ensure you are making the best decisions for your space. 

 

The Nurse

If you want to manage your own project, but anticipate you may need a second opinion or assistance throughout, this service is for you. The Nurse ensures that no matter the need, your designer is on standby to assist in any need that may arise during the execution of your project. 

 

The Nanny

- {Upgrade/Room Flips ; Home Staging ; Set Designing} - 

 

This service is intended for those who simply want to spruce up an existing space, or need assistance staging their space for selling, photos, etc. Also a great option if you’re looking for assistance designing a set for photos, videos, and other performances.
